Franchino training with Revs

By: Sabin | May 3rd, 2007

This just in: Joe Franchino was spotted on the training field with the Revolution yesterday, reports the MetroWest Daily News.

He didn’t answer any questions about his absence, but I’ll keep you all posted.

Also, according to the Revolution Game Notes, he’s available as a substitute. He more than likely won’t be showing up on the field tonight, but it’s good to see his name back in the list, that’s for sure.

Other players out for tonight include Daniel Hernandez (groin strain), and Ryan Solle (concussion-like symptoms). Listed as probable are Michael Parkhurst, Khano Smith, Wells Thompson and Jeff Larentowicz.

It should be a good game tonight, as D.C. United need a win and will want revenge for their playoffs loss to the Revs last season. The Revs, as well, will be looking to get at least a point away from home.

My prediction: 3 - 2, Revs win.
