Revolution 1 Dynamo 0

By: Dave | July 26th, 2009

The Revolution put on another impressive performance, defeating the Dynamo 1-0 away. The Revs looked in control for much of the game, and held off a grand finale surge from Houston late in the game.

Some take aways:

Taking down the best MLS team in their own house is a great positive moving forward

Shalrie Joseph makes this team work. He is sitting the all star game out, which is too bad because he is one of the MLS’ best midfielders. However, this is good news for Revs fans as the team really needs him in good health and on the pitch

Matt Reis is the guy you want in net when the game is on the line. Amazing performance, especially at the end of the game

Mansali looked sharp and produced some good scoring ops. Look for him to factor in future goals.
