Nicol speaks on all star game

MLS Interview with Steve Nicol

I’m looking forward to tonight’s game for two reasons, really. The first is that the Revs will be showcasing a solid contingent of players: Matt Reis, Shalrie Joseph, and Michael Parkhurst. All of whom are rapidly leaving their underappreciated status behind.

The second reason is because I love watching Nicol coach. I count him as one of the most talented — or tenacious — managers in the MLS, and am glad to be able to have other folks see what he does.

On the gossip side of things: Remember that Celtic FC is the team that tried twice to sign Joseph, so look for those sparks and bits of interest. Will they manifest on the field? One can only guess.
